Information regarding the Daycare Services 2024-2025

Emmanuel Christian School’s Before and After School Daycare Program is a service offered outside regular class hours for elementary school students which complements the educational services provided by the school and is focused on recreational activities. We also encourage the students to do their homework.

In charge of the daycare service this school year is Ms. Laya Jebelli. Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Grecu will be part of the daycare team.

In daycare we follow the school`s rules regarding discipline, uniform wearing, and the health and safety protocols. Students attending the daycare are expected to cooperate with the daycare supervisors, have a positive attitude, and participate in planned activities.

Daycare service/schedule:

• Morning period 7:15 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. (drop off students only at the main entrance)

• After school period: 3.15 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.

• Half days: 11:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (always offered)

• Pedagogical days: 7:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (30$/day/student)

Fees:

• Lunch supervision and daycare fees are already included in the tuition fees.

• Children must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. (on regular days) or 5:00p.m (on pedagogical days). After this time, a late penalty

charge of 2.00$/minute/student will be applied.

On the school web site, you will find all the fill-in-registration forms for daycare. Planned half-days and ped-days will be announced at the beginning of the school year. Reminders will be sent in advance on ClassDojo. More information is to come in the beginning of the school year.

In the daycare:

Proper supervision will be provided during daycare. Under no condition will a child be permitted to leave school without a parent or designated authorized person. Should a parent be unable to pick up the child/children, he/she must contact the school as soon as possible stating who will be picking them up.

Please label all your child's personal belongings. Personal toys or electronic equipment are not allowed.

Children get hungry after school hours, so please don’t forget to send an extra snack for your child /children staying after school in the daycare.
