Financial Aid

The EMCS educational program has been offered to Christian families worldwide for 50 years. EMCS has been offering bursaries to over 300 families over the years. With your help, we can keep helping deserving families by donating today.

Christian Foundation and EMCS partnership

This bursary is calculated according to each family's financial needs, with a maximum of $4000 per family ($40,000 total bursary given to all families per year). There are a limited number of bursaries available.

The Jason Collins bursary

Helps students who need financial assistance.  This bursary is in honour of Jason Collins, one of our students who passed away in 2022. The amount of financial aid can vary per student and is dependent on the funds available and a number of requests per year. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or perhaps you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, how you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Financial How to Apply

The Bursary committee has only a limited amount of funds available. Please submit your request by June 1, 2024.  No request will be accepted after this date; no exception will be made! (Tax documents are needed for your bursary application. Please keep this in mind when filing your tax return. Waiting for tax documents will no longer be an acceptable excuse for delaying your bursary application).

The Bursary Committee, appointed by the Board of Directors, will meet to review your request and will send you a letter informing you of its decision by June 30. In all cases, the registration fees of $200 per student must be documents will no longer be an acceptable excuse for delaying your bursary application).

Giving a bursary is based on many criteria, among them, total family revenue, the effort, behaviour, and achievement of the recipient.

Please return the form and all documents in a CONFIDENTIAL envelope to the Bursary Committee before the deadline. Please remember this when filing your income tax so you will have all documents returned on time.

We have retained the services of Apple Financial Services to assess all requests received. Both parents must complete the online application and submit the required documents. Apple provides an objective analysis of each application, recommending what the family should reasonably contribute towards the total fees. The Financial Aid Committee then reviews the results and approves the final grants, subject to the availability of funds. Families are notified in writing of the committee’s decision.
