EMCS Ombudsman and complaints officer

As the ombudsman of Emmanuel Christian School, I am responsible for ensuring that you as a parent and student are satisfied with the services provided in accordance with our Code of Conduct, which is found in our Student Handbook. Parents are encouraged to peruse this information and go over it with their child. In addition to investigating a complaint, it is my responsibility to ensure that the issue is resolved quickly and with neutrality. Should a parent or student be dissatisfied with the resolution, the objection may be submitted to the Regional Complaints Officer. At Emmanuel Christian School we want to ensure that you are well served in fairness and dignity.

You can use the online form to make a report and send it to the school Ombudsman or to the National Student Ombudsman’s assistance, and the admissibility team will process your request within 48 working hours.

A complaint may be filed by a student or one of the student’s parents regarding the educational services they received, are receiving, should have received, or need if the student attends an educational institution within the jurisdiction of:

  • a school service centre.

  • an English school board.

  • the private sector.

  • vocational training.

  • adult education.

  • or if a student is homeschooled.
