True success is defined by discipline rooted in Christ. To be effective, here are some key elements of my task:

I listen carefully and understand students' needs while taking time to pray with them.

I am using reflection sheets as a problem-solving approach.

Discuss with students the importance of respect, honesty and forgiveness with reference to our Christian values.

Support and motivate students by helping them persevere in achieving their goals.

Setting objectives with students to monitor their progress, e.g. action plans.

Setting limits and clarifying roles, responsibilities and expectations.

Shaping student behaviour and reinforcing motivation.
