- Participates in the development and implementation of a work plan to help our students with difficulties in the primary sector.

- Contributes to the detection and recognition of students experiencing difficulties, with a view to prevention and intervention.

- Assess student learning difficulties by gathering information from teachers and parents.

- With the multidisciplinary team, develop and revise the student's individualized education plan, including, where applicable, the student's action plan.

- Establishes objectives and means of intervention

- Collaborates with other team members to coordinate interventions and evaluate the achievement of objectives.

- Participates with teachers in the development and implementation of strategies and projects aimed at helping students who present or are likely to present learning difficulties.

- Accompanies and advises teachers and parents of students with learning difficulties.

- Proposes strategies for intervening with these students.

- Guides students in the choice of attitudes and approaches to facilitate the learning process.

- Designs, develops and adapts materials according to each student's needs and abilities.

- Meets with students individually, in groups or as a class.

- Advises and supports teachers in integrating students into regular classrooms and suggests methods of intervention or activities appropriate to the student's situation.

- Can refer students or parents to resources appropriate to the situation and needs.
